Real Make Firm Decision After Receiving Transfer Offer

Real Madrid remain open to further transfer activity before the summer window closes, despite already being one of the busiest clubs on the market.

Real Madrid have been extremely active in the transfer market this summer, strengthening José Mourinho’s squad with several major additions. However, although the club believes most of its business has already been completed, the door is not completely closed to further movement before the transfer deadline.

Real Make Firm Decision After Receiving Transfer Offer

The Spanish giants have spent just under €240 million on new signings during the summer window. At the same time, they have managed to balance their finances relatively well thanks to the departures of several young players, which have reportedly generated around €200 million in transfer income.

As a result, there is no urgent financial pressure on Real Madrid to sell. Nevertheless, the club remains attentive to potential opportunities that could emerge during the final days of the window.

According to José Félix Díaz of AS, Real Madrid believe they could receive an unexpected offer at any moment for a player who is not considered essential to José Mourinho’s plans. Should an attractive proposal arrive, the Spanish club would be willing to study it and potentially reconsider the player’s future.

Regarding possible arrivals, however, the situation appears much quieter. Real Madrid are currently not believed to be actively working on any new transfer targets. Unless there is an important departure or an unexpected opportunity on the market, the current squad is expected to remain largely unchanged.

One offer has already reached the offices at Valdebebas, although it concerned a player Real Madrid have absolutely no intention of selling.

According to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, French club Lille recently contacted Real Madrid and submitted an offer for Thiago Pitarch, one of the most impressive young players to emerge during the second half of last season.

The financial details of Lille’s proposal have not been revealed, but Real Madrid quickly made their position clear. Mourinho wants to keep the youngster and considers him part of his squad for the new campaign.

Lille were reportedly looking at Pitarch as a possible replacement for Ayyoub Bouaddi, who is expected to leave the French side and join Manchester City. The Spanish midfielder therefore emerged as an attractive option for the Ligue 1 club.

Lille are not the only team to have shown interest in Pitarch. Fulham, managed by former Real Madrid figure Álvaro Arbeloa, had also explored the possibility of signing him.

However, Real Madrid’s response has remained unchanged: Thiago Pitarch is staying.

The club’s confidence in the young midfielder is also reflected in its long-term plans. According to reports in the Spanish media, Real Madrid offered Pitarch a new contract during the summer in order to secure his future and reward his progress.

With the transfer deadline approaching, Real Madrid therefore remain alert rather than actively searching for reinforcements. An unexpected departure could still change the situation, but for now, Mourinho appears satisfied with his squad—and Pitarch will be part of it.
