Real Madrid have officially announced their squad for the upcoming friendly against Deportivo de La Coruña in the 81st edition of the prestigious Teresa Herrera Trophy. The match will take place at the Riazor Stadium on Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Realmadrid TV, RM Play and La 1.
José Mourinho has selected a balanced group combining established first-team stars with several promising young players as Real Madrid continue their preparations for the 2026/27 season.

In goal, Andriy Lunin is included alongside young goalkeeper Sergio Mestre. Lunin is expected to play an important role during the pre-season campaign as the coaching staff continues to assess the condition and readiness of the squad ahead of the start of official competition.
The defensive unit includes Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Álvaro Carreras, Antonio Rüdiger and Denzel Dumfries. Mourinho has also called up several academy talents, including Joan Martínez, Lamini and Mario Rivas. Their presence underlines the Portuguese coach’s willingness to give younger players opportunities during the summer preparation period.
In midfield, Real Madrid will be able to count on Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde and Arda Güler, three players expected to have major roles this season. Summer arrival Bernardo Silva is also included after recently making his first appearance for the club.
Young midfielders Cestero, Lacosta and Alexis Ciria complete the group. They will be hoping to earn valuable minutes and impress Mourinho as competition for places continues to intensify.
The attacking department is led by Vinícius Jr., who is available for another pre-season appearance as Real Madrid gradually bring their senior internationals back into competitive rhythm. Endrick is also included and will be looking to continue making an impression after a promising preparation campaign.
Carlos Espí, Brahim Díaz and Daniel Yáñez complete the list of forwards. Espí has already shown his ability to contribute during pre-season, while Brahim offers Mourinho additional creativity and versatility in the attacking areas.
The Teresa Herrera Trophy represents another important step in Real Madrid’s preparations before the beginning of the new campaign. Mourinho is expected to continue rotating his squad, testing tactical combinations and giving minutes to both established players and academy prospects.
