Real Madrid: Uncertainty Surrounds Endrick’s Future

Endrick’s future at Real Madrid is becoming more uncertain as the club continues to assess the best possible solution for the highly rated Brazilian striker. According to Spanish newspaper AS, the Spanish giants still have no intention of permanently selling the 20-year-old forward, whose contract runs until June 2030. However, another loan move is once again emerging as the most likely option.

The Brazilian international recently returned from a successful spell at Lyon, where he played between January and May 2026. His time in France allowed him to gain regular minutes, develop his game and rebuild his confidence after struggling to establish himself in Madrid’s first team. The experience was considered positive by both the player’s representatives and the Real Madrid hierarchy.

Real Madrid: Uncertainty Surrounds Endrick's Future

Despite his encouraging performances in Ligue 1, Endrick’s position at the Santiago Bernabéu remains complicated. The young striker would prefer to stay in the Spanish capital and fight for his place, but doubts are beginning to grow regarding the amount of playing time he could receive during the upcoming season.

No final decision has been made at this stage. Real Madrid are carefully studying the situation and do not want to rush into a choice that could negatively affect the player’s development. The club continue to believe in Endrick’s long-term potential and still see him as an important asset for the future.

However, the current competition in attack could make regular opportunities difficult to obtain. Even with Gonzalo García expected to complete an imminent transfer to Fulham, Endrick’s path into the starting lineup remains blocked. The Brazilian must compete with several established attackers, including Kylian Mbappé, as well as other players capable of operating in a central role.

The recent arrival of additional attacking reinforcements has also raised further questions about Endrick’s place in José Mourinho’s plans. The Real Madrid coach wants a squad with different offensive profiles, and Endrick may not currently be considered the first-choice alternative to Mbappé.

A new loan could therefore represent the most logical solution. It would allow Endrick to continue playing regularly at a high level without forcing Real Madrid to give up control of his future. The Spanish club would likely seek a destination where he could receive guarantees over playing time and continue his tactical and physical development.

For the moment, however, no concrete interested club has been publicly identified. No serious negotiations or formal offers have been reported, meaning that all options remain open.

Endrick’s priority is still to succeed at Real Madrid. The Brazilian has always expressed his determination to prove himself in the famous white shirt. Nevertheless, as the start of the season approaches, he may have to accept that another temporary move could be the best way to protect his progress and eventually earn a major role at the Bernabéu.
