Real Madrid reaches an agreement to sign Oscar Naasei.

Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement to sign highly rated Ghanaian central defender Oscar Naasei, with the 21-year-old set to join the Spanish giants from Granada.

The deal is understood to be worth around €2 million, with Real Madrid moving quickly to secure the services of a player they consider an important prospect for the future. Naasei has also reportedly completed his medical examinations, clearing one of the final steps before the transfer is officially announced.

Rather than immediately joining the Real Madrid first team, the Ghanaian defender is expected to begin his career at the club with Real Madrid Castilla. The plan is to give him regular playing time and allow him to adapt to the demands, tactical expectations and pressure that come with representing one of the biggest clubs in world football.

Real Madrid have increasingly focused on recruiting young players with significant development potential, and Naasei appears to fit perfectly into that strategy. His performances will naturally be monitored closely by the first-team coaching staff. Should Naasei impress with Castilla, opportunities to train with the senior squad could eventually follow, particularly as Real Madrid continue to plan not only for the present but also for the long-term future of their defence.

For the player, signing for Real Madrid represents a major step in his young career. Moving from Granada into the structure of the record European champions brings enormous expectations, but it also offers him access to elite facilities, coaching and a clear developmental pathway.
