Real Madrid have already arrived in Austria, where José Mourinho’s team will face Fiorentina in a pre-season friendly this afternoon. The match will take place at the Wörthersee Stadion in Klagenfurt, with kick-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m. The game will also be broadcast live on Realmadrid TV.
The Madrid delegation began its journey from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. The players selected by Mourinho for the friendly travelled together with the coaching staff and the rest of the club’s representatives. After a flight lasting more than two hours, the team landed safely in the Austrian city before continuing its preparations for the match.

Following their arrival, the Real Madrid squad travelled directly to the Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden. The hotel will serve as the team’s base and concentration venue before the players make their way to the stadium later in the day. Mourinho and his coaching staff will use the final hours before kick-off to complete their tactical preparations, hold team meetings and ensure that the players are fully focused on the challenge ahead.
The friendly against Fiorentina represents another important stage in Real Madrid’s pre-season programme. After several weeks of intensive training and behind-closed-doors practice matches, the Spanish giants will now have the opportunity to test themselves against strong European opposition.

Mourinho is expected to use the game to assess the physical condition of his squad, experiment with different tactical systems and give minutes to several young players. The Portuguese coach will also be eager to see how his new signings adapt to the team’s style of play and interact with their new teammates.
Although the final result is not the main priority during pre-season, Real Madrid will still be determined to produce a convincing performance. The match offers the players a valuable chance to build confidence, improve their fitness and strengthen their understanding of Mourinho’s tactical demands.
Fiorentina should provide a competitive test. The Italian side are known for their technical quality, aggressive pressing and ability to control possession. Real Madrid’s defence will therefore need to remain organised, while the midfield will be expected to manage the rhythm of the game and create opportunities for the attacking players.

The encounter will also allow Mourinho to evaluate players who are fighting for a place in his starting eleven. With the new season approaching, every training session and friendly match is becoming increasingly important. Several members of the squad will be hoping to impress the coach and prove that they deserve a major role during the campaign.
