Endrick’s future has been the subject of growing speculation in Spain over the past few days. Despite reported interest from AS Roma and the intense competition within Real Madrid’s attacking department, the latest information coming from the Spanish capital appears reassuring for the young Brazilian forward.
As things stand, Endrick is not expected to leave Real Madrid this summer. His name had recently been linked with a possible move away from the Santiago Bernabéu, particularly after AS Roma reportedly expressed interest in signing him. With several attacking options available to José Mourinho, questions were raised about how much playing time the 20-year-old could receive during the upcoming season.

However, according to respected Spanish journalist Arancha Rodríguez, a departure is not currently being considered. Speaking on Doctor Jota’s YouTube channel, the COPE reporter, who is widely regarded as one of the most reliable sources covering Real Madrid, explained that she had received no information suggesting that Endrick could leave the club.
“I have not received any information regarding Endrick’s departure,” Rodríguez said. “It is true that I have not asked too many questions about it because I consider him to be a player who is going to stay. For me, there is no doubt. I even think he will have an important role because matches are no longer played with only eleven players, but with fifteen.”
Her comments suggest that Real Madrid continue to see Endrick as an important part of their first-team plans. Although the Brazilian is unlikely to begin the season as a regular starter, the coaching staff believe he can play a valuable role in the rotation throughout a long and demanding campaign.
Other reports from Spain claim that Endrick has already made a positive impression on José Mourinho during the limited minutes he has played in pre-season. His energy, movement and ability to attack spaces have reportedly pleased the Portuguese coach, who values players capable of making an impact from the bench.
The recent departure of Gonzalo García to Fulham could also create more opportunities for Endrick. With one fewer striker competing for minutes, the Brazilian may receive more chances in domestic competitions and during congested periods of the season.
His versatility is another important advantage. While Endrick’s natural position is through the centre, Real Madrid are also considering using him on the right wing. His speed, direct style and powerful left foot could allow Mourinho to deploy him in several attacking roles.

Rodríguez also stressed that Endrick fully understands the level of competition he faces. The Brazilian does not expect to start the biggest matches immediately, but that reality has not changed the club’s plans.
“Obviously, he will not be a starter,” she added. “I think we all know that, and he knows it as well.”
Unless there is a dramatic and unexpected change in the coming weeks, Endrick will therefore remain at Real Madrid for the new season. Despite approaches from several clubs and rumours suggesting that he could seek more playing time elsewhere, the Spanish giants still believe in his potential and want him to continue his development in Madrid.
