Endrick has made the perfect start to his summer preparations. Named in the starting lineup for Real Madrid against Fiorentina, the Brazilian striker impressed by scoring twice during the friendly match played at the Wörthersee Stadion in Klagenfurt, Austria.
With the Spanish giants missing several important players, including Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Junior, Endrick knew he had a valuable opportunity to impress José Mourinho. The young forward did not waste it. He was extremely active throughout the match, constantly making runs behind the Fiorentina defence and putting the Italian side under pressure.

His first goal rewarded an excellent opening to the game. After receiving the ball inside the penalty area, Endrick showed his natural finishing ability to beat the opposing goalkeeper. He remained just as determined after the break and found the back of the net for a second time, confirming his impressive efficiency in front of goal.
The brace comes at an important moment for the Brazilian, whose future at Real Madrid remains uncertain. Despite enjoying a successful loan spell with Olympique Lyonnais between January and May 2026, Endrick still needs to convince the Madrid hierarchy that he deserves an important role in the first-team squad.

The arrival of Carlos Espí, signed to provide a more physical option in attack, has also increased the competition for places. Endrick therefore needed to respond on the pitch. Against Fiorentina, he delivered the best possible answer by scoring twice and playing an active role in his team’s attacking performance.
Beyond his two goals, the Brazilian showed plenty of desire, movement and commitment. He regularly dropped deeper to help with the build-up while remaining dangerous in the final third. His understanding with Arda Güler, who was responsible for creating chances in attack, was particularly encouraging.
This performance could reopen the debate surrounding his future. Real Madrid are not necessarily considering a permanent transfer, but another loan move remains a possibility. Endrick, meanwhile, wants to continue his journey in the Spanish capital and fight for regular playing time.
With his brace against Fiorentina, the young Brazil international has sent a very clear message: he has no intention of giving up and is determined to make the most of every opportunity to convince José Mourinho.
